Hong Kong Open Badminton Super Series 2010
The Hong Kong Open Badminton Super Series is one of the Badminton World Federation (BWF)'s Super Series events with a grand prize of US$250,000. Attracting some 200 of the world’s top players, the event uses a knock-out system and consists of a men's and women's singles, men's and women's doubles and mixed doubles.
In the much-awaited singles finals in the 2009 tournament, Wang Yihan of China beat compatriot Jiang Yanjiao in women’s singles final, while Lee Chong Wei, the Malaysian world number one beat Danish veteran Peter Gade for the title.
It is expected that some of the world's top badminton players will be in town again for next year’s event. So get set for some great badminton action!
