The Thai Festival Songkran 2025 will take place from 11 to -13 April, featuring Thai carnival activities and performances as well as authentic Thai cuisine. From 1 April to 6 May, shoppers can also enjoy enticing offers for spending in the Kowloon City District and participate in a lucky draw with prizes totalling over HKD $500,000.

Become an ‘insider’ and meet giant panda Le Le! Go behind the scenes into ‘restricted’ areas to peek into the daily lives of these magnificent animals! Ocean Park’s animal caretakers will explain and demonstrate how they perform daily physical check-ups while sharing interesting characteristics and behaviours of the giant pandas. You will also have the chance to make nutritious snacks for Le Le yourself. As a special memento, you will receive a participation certificate at the end of the programme!

Objects of Play: Hoo Mojong Centennial Retrospective takes place during a significant moment: the centenary of Hoo Mojong’s birth. A trailblazer in modern art, Hoo is a key figure in bridging Eastern and Western artistic languages. She left her hometown in her early 20s, and her extensive travels and residencies around the world not only enriched her personal experiences but also infused her artistic creations with multicultural inspiration. The exhibition will comprehensively trace Hoo’s artistic journey featuring nearly 100 artworks, including paintings, prints, drawings and archival materials from various periods of her career, recapping her integration of Chinese and Western art styles and investigations of the spirituality and power of ordinary life.

‘Xu Bing in Hong Kong: Square Word Calligraphy’ marks the inaugural commissioning art initiative by artist Xu Bing in his role as Hong Kong’s Ambassador for Cultural Promotion. A highlight of this project is the exhibition ‘Eying East, Wondering West – Square Word Calligraphy Classroom’. Square Word Calligraphy is a unique form of writing that transforms English into a visual style resembling Chinese characters. In this exhibition, Xu Bing skillfully incorporates Hong Kong’s distinctive linguistic features, enriching the meaning and interpretation of Square Word Calligraphy.
