Travel tips

Plan your trip and be prepared. Pay attention to the boat schedule and return times. You may need to queue for an hour or more for the return boat ride. For more details, visit the Sun Ferry website.
Passengers can go to Central Pier 5 to take an ordinary ferry or fast ferry to Cheung Chau, with a journey time of approximately 55 to 60 minutes for an ordinary ferry and approximately 35 to 40 minutes for a fast ferry.

MTR

Take the MTR Tung Chung Line and alight at Hong Kong Station, or walk from MTR Central Station (without exiting the ticket barrier) to Hong Kong Station. Walk for about 5 to 10 minutes to Central Pier 5. For more details, visit the MTR website.

Bus

Several bus lines serve Central Pier 5. After alighting, it’s just a 1-minute walk to the pier. Check the bus company’s official website, customer service hotline or app for the latest service updates.
