Black, white, and grey may seem cold and dull, but under the brush of Wu Guanzhong, these colours become the most exquisite and sentimental tones. This exhibition showcases over 30+ pieces of Wu’s ink and oil paintings in two phases, accompanied by insightful excerpts from the artist’s own writing. It seeks to subvert preconceived notions — viewers are guided to appreciate Wu’s distinct chromatic aesthetics and his reflections on life and nature, while experiencing the deep emotions woven into each piece.
