Theme of firework musical ‘The Symphony of Happiness’

The firework musical, themed 'The Symphony of Happiness', was designed by Mr Liu Lin, Chief of the Fireworks Project and Director of Fireworks Operations for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Inspired by nature, the New Year Countdown Fireworks Display will offer blessings for the New Year by revealing the myriad states and stages of the five natural elements – metal, wood, water, fire and earth.

The 12-minute show features four stunning fireworks effects, including 'Blooming Blossoms', 'Evergreen Tree', 'Golden Waterfall', and for the first time in Hong Kong, 'Propitious Clouds'. Let's embrace a new chapter as we welcome 2025! Images are illustrative of the expected fireworks display.
