Two temples in one complex – Sam Tai Tse Temple and Pak Tai Temple next door. Sam Tai Tse Temple is a Grade II historic building originally built in 1898 by Hakka immigrants to honour their patron deity, Sam Tai Tse, after a particularly deadly plague swept through Sham Shui Po. It is the only temple in Hong Kong dedicated to Na Cha (also known as Sam Tai Tze) and houses cultural relics that date back to the late Qing dynasty, such as ancient bells and other artefacts.
