The festival will first feature three thoughtfully curated programmes consisting of excerpts and full-length works showcasing ancient paichang operatic styles. Formulaic Plays Excerpts will be performed on the first night, while the following two nights of performances include Wu Song and Executing the Duke’s Second Brother.
