On New Year’s Eve, the night sky over Victoria Harbour will transform into a stunning canvas of light and shadow, showcasing a breathtaking firework musical. This 12-minute extravaganza will showcase various forms of nature through spectacular fireworks effects, embodying the theme of ‘The Symphony of Happiness’ and conveying wishes for prosperity. The fireworks display will dazzle with four striking effects, including a first-ever feature for Hong Kong, illuminating the skyline of Victoria Harbour. The firework musical extravaganza themed ‘The Symphony of Happiness’ was designed by Liu Lin, Fireworks Project’s Chief and Director of Fireworks Operation of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Drawing inspiration from the elements of nature, it highlights our bond with the environment while expressing themes of passion, joy, resilience and hope.
