Following Qiao Yang’s autobiographical solo dance Almost 55, she has once again scattered creative seeds this season. Presented by City Contemporary Dance Company, resident Choreographer Sang Jijia endows the work with his unique choreographic vision, forged through trials and tribulations. Guest dancers Luo Fan and Kelvin Mak join Qiao Yang in the vast rice field, listening to the nuances of snowfall with the audience. Together, they traverse life’s stages, leaning against the door in quiet contemplation and imagining the future.
