The Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra’s first collaboration with the German-Austrian tenor Jonas Kaufmann features a number of arias at the concert. Hailed as one of the world’s most significant and versatile tenors of his generation, Kaufmann has graced the stages of all leading opera houses, performing in over 70 operas and even honoured as ‘the world’s greatest tenor’ by The Telegraph. This concert showcases favourite arias from some of Kaufmann’s signature roles, including Cavaradossi in Tosca, Radamès in Aida, Don José in Carmen and Calaf in Turandot.
