The Dream of a Concubine | The 53rd Hong Kong Arts Festival

The Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra collaborates with the internationally renowned composer Qu Xiaosong for the first time, presenting the world premieres of the commissioned pieces Yuji’s Wish and Bitter Lament, as well as the premiere of King Chu Doffs His Armour, featuring soprano Lini Gong. The concert adopts the perspective of Yu Ji as a witness to war and reimagines her longing for peace.
