Assistant Manager, Marketing (for South Asia & Middle East markets)

Location: Hong Kong

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN?

  • Assist in developing social media content for planned trade and consumer programs and tracking on the results and status
  • Support and ensure smooth delivery of assigned travel trade cooperative programs
  • Adapt and support developing content for DHK.com market specific pages for all new markets
  • Regular communication with in-market Representative(s) to consolidate reports on market trends, market intelligence and key developments
  • Support and manage logistics of trade and media familiarization tours of new markets
  • Provide office administrative and financial procedures support to the Division that meets internal policies, procedures and guidelines including:
    • Business travel
    • Coordination and organisation of purchasing
    • Processing of Representative offices purchasing and payments
    • Promotion materials and collateral
    • Filing, physical and electronic
    • General office administration
  • Arrange business travel arrangements for the team
  • Undertake any other duties/special assignments as directed by Director, South Asia and Middle East.

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • University degree holder in Marketing, Communications, Tourism or other related disciplines with minimum 6 years of relevant working experience
  • Detailed understanding of tourism and/ or travel trade business. Previous exposure to SAME markets will be an advantage.
  • Strong drive for success, excellent influencing skills
  • High proficiency in written and spoken English is essential
  • Documentation management.
  • Procurement management.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Negotiation & risk management skills.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Organizational & efficiency skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Good writing and presentation skills
