HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN?

  • Hand-on development of trade marcom strategies and programs including the writing, design, and art direction of online webinars, e-newsletters, e-blasts in additional to traditional marcom
  • Evaluate the results of all marcom programs and provide new ideas on a routine basis to engage travel partners with innovative/new marcom programs
  • Consistently implement new ways of partnering with the trade on high impact promotions with broad reach and high ROI
  • Manage product development and solicit travel partner packages and their placement on DiscoverHongKong.com/us vacation packages pages
  • Conduct travel partner training, manage familiarization trips and participate in trade shows reaching the travel agent community
  • Manage all aspects of tour operator tactical co-op programs including RFP development, program execution and analyzing post performance/ROI
  • Manage US trade marketing budget and prepare reports to communicate US market conditions and program development

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Holder of Bachelor’s Degree or higher with a minimum of 8 years of travel trade marketing experience
  • Sharp marcom skills including the hands-on creation, design/writing of online and traditional materials. Fluent in Constant Contact and other similar database communication systems
  • Good team player
  • Proactive approach and big idea orientation
  • Strong detail orientation
  • Ability to use problem solving skills to successfully complete projects
  • Capacity to prioritize and meet deadlines on multiple tasks
  • Strong analytical and budgeting capabilities with extremely strong Excel skills
  • Ability to analyze data and synthesize for actionable use
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and sharp PowerPoint skills
  • Proficiency in webinar hosting and email distribution platforms

 

LOCATION:

  • The position is located in our New York office
  • We do not offer moving allowances from other cities.
