A Hong Kong leading specialty store, Lane Crawford’s luxurious and innovatively designed stores pull together a large assortment of international women’s wear, men’s wear, shoes and accessories, jewellery, cosmetics, and home and lifestyle collections.
Founded in Hong Kong in 1850 by Scotsmen Thomas Ash Lane and Ninian Crawford, the original store was a far cry from today’s luxurious and personalised shopping experience. It was once a makeshift bamboo structure on Victoria Harbour, from where the two founders sold provisions to the crews of visiting ships as well as British Navy personnel and their families. Back then it was known as the ‘place to buy anything from a pin to an anchor’.
