There are 100 reasons to visit Hong Kong! There's nothing like Hong Kong's National Day fireworks display if you're planning to visit the city on 1 October.
On top of celebrating National Day, the brilliant fireworks also symbolize prosperity for businesses and a brighter future for the city. A total of 31,888 firing shells are fired during the 23-minute show.
Red hearts symbolize joy and unity in the opening scene. "Peonies" represent life and anticipation as we forge a bright future together.
The second scene shows happy faces and there's a blooming "Bauhinia blakeana" in the sky. It represents both our Hong Kong roots and our hopes for the future, but also resonates with "Night Vibes Hong Kong".
In honor of National Day and the Asian Games in Hangzhou, the third scene features "red shimmers" symbolizing athletes working towards their goals.
With vibrant, colorful fireworks, the fourth scene encourages everyone to be global-minded and work together for global harmony and humanity's advancement by applying boundless creativity and imagination.
As a multi-colour hydrangea makes its Hong Kong debut during the fifth scene, when it explodes into rings, spirals, crowns, and other designs, telling everyone that you can create a splendid life if you dare to dream and move forward.
"Red five-pointed stars", "roaming fireworks", "Crown" and "palm brocades" finish off the firework display, symbolizing the prosperity and innovation of the nation and blessings on Hong Kong.
