Tiantang (translates to ‘paradise’) Peak, the major peak of Nankun Mountain, stands 1,210 metres above sea level. A visit in March will lead you to a beautiful sea of blossoming azaleas. If you choose to visit in summer, expect a cool, enjoyable trip despite temperatures reaching over 30°C, as pleasant breezes blow through the mountains and keep you comfortable. If you have time, a hot spring bath and some authentic Nankun Mountain tea are also highly recommended.
Also known as Dongqiao Mountain, Luofu Mountain boasts spectacular landscapes and marvellous vistas. Its main peak, Feiyun Peak, is famed for breathtaking sunrises and panoramic views. You may also visit the Chongxu Ancient Temple, which is widely regarded as one of the top 10 ancient temples in China, and pray for good fortune like thousands of disciples do every year.
